Utility Emergencies

• ENEL is the national electricity provider to all of Italy  (in Italian)
• There are various gas providers including:
• Italgas
• Vivigas  (Italian)
• Water is provided by Acea 
• Telephone service is provided by Telecom Italia

ARPAL is the regional agency for environment protection in Liguria, which gives assistance to Ligurian provinces and towns on rubbish removal, energy sources and more.

Genoa Province

AMIU removes large, dangerous and hospital waste in the Genoa area.

Their Ecovan service will pick up and dispose of large items such as televisions, couches and appliances in the province. This service is free.

It is also free to take such items to one of Genoa's ecological islands in Via Gastaldi (Pontedecimo), Lungobisogno Dalmazia 3 (Staglieno) and Via Argine Polcevera (Campi).

Imperia Province

A.T.O. Rifiuti takes care of issues related to rubbish removal in the Imperia province and nominates the companies which will be responsible for the removal.
