Flavour of the Month!
Say "Italy" and many people think "food", particularly pizza and pasta. The country has a rich culinary history that reflects the conquerors (from Greeks to Normans) and regional variances of local produce, which result in everything from rich risottos in the north to the simple Calabrese cuisine of the south.
Eat to live, live to eat
Each season has its special flavours and a day trip into the countryside is an easy way to experience regional food and wine. Many vineyards allow for wine tasting and a visit to a village market will reveal the brightest and best of local produce.
