Has anyone seen the swan nesting her 8 eggs? She is sitting by the river bank in Ventimiglia, just over the bridge towards the old town. It is an absolutely wonderful scene. Here are some picture that were taken: Ventimiglia Swan

The Ventimiglia swans are an enjoyable phenomenon. Sometimes they sail in a flotilla along the sea, transferring between the Roya and Nervia rivers. I've been in swimming while this was happening, having them pass close by me while I was in the water - a very unusual experience.
