Are coffee machines like Nespresso worth it or should I stick with my stove top do you think?

I have a Lavazza (Modo Mio) machine - in stylish red - and think it's wonderful. Easy to use for Espresso, Americano and Cappucino with a good range of different strength coffee 'pods'. Ask Santa for one!

Does it work out much pricier to run than the stove tops in terms of coffee prices?

I've never really got into stove tops but suspect will assume machine coffeee will work out more expensive - but superb coffee experience at a fraction of cafe prices.

am a stove top fan myself, mainly because I need a gallon of the stuff in my latte in the morning to make me function so stove top is easy for me
