Miguel, here at the Frobisher household we stick to the traditional Christmas as set out by our forefathers. Lots of food, a fair sprinkling of alcohol and falling asleep in front of the TV after stuffing ourselves.
We normally go for Turkey and all the trimmings followed by either a home made, or an M&S Christmas pud. We tried Goose one year but went back to Turkey.
I always use to buy a large turkey but my OH got me on to getting a Turkey Saddle from the butcher, less waste, but it does work out more expensive.
turkey here as well on Christmas day. On Christmas Eve however we do the Italian thing and have fish extravaganza. Oh and lots of panettone from November onwards. Any excuse...
As Janet says, which I forgot to say, is lots of mince pies. It's quite difficult to get the filling down here so I either make my own filling or bring it in from the UK. I do prefer to make the pies myself, much nicer than shop bought.
We don't really bother with anything special at Christmas, and find that much easier here as it isn't shoved in your face as much from October like in UK.
